Here are a few pictures from last weekend, it's been a while since we have put any up. We went south to Eilat for a couple days with Eric and Traci and had a great time. We spent most of our days in the water since it was incredibly hot, over 100 degrees most days. Anyway, here are some pictures -- next weekend I'll try for some pictures that actually show the fish -- they are just so fast and turn out so blurry... This coral in the picture below is actually under the water, but the water is so clear it looks like it is on the surface.

We also visited Tel Arad and Mamshit in the Negev desert. Tel Arad is the ruins of a Canaanite city and also a fortress from the Israelite period. Below is a picture of the ancient Temple ruins.

Below is Mamshit, a Roman-Nabatean city that had the ruins of houses, a market, a bath house, stables and much more.

There were also two Byzantine churches, the last picture is the baptistry.
